This project consisted of about 47 single residential erfs in a new extension of Rocky Crest. The brief consisted of six different layout types with two visual concepts. Each design consists of three bedrooms and a double garage of various sizes.

Most of the erfs were elongated with the short side to the street. This resulted in the layouts being linear. It was important to connect indoor spaces as much as possible with exterior spaces which then created outdoor rooms that extended indoor spaces to the outside.

The idea behind the aesthetic design was to move away from what is typically found in the area and rather go with a modern style which incorporated elements such as timber tile cladding, brushed steel, and face brick to give a distinct look.
